This trip goes to Skrylle Nature Reserve in Scania. The nature reserve is connected to Dalby and seems to be used often for strolls in the forest. Skrylle consists of both wide open meadows and bright forests. For paths there is a selection from the 800 meter path to the 15 km long hiking trail. For this session Skåneleden (The Scania Path) was followed.
Along the path are delicious fruits and berries like cherries and raspberries. Perhaps the road is mostly used for exercise and therefore the fruits have been left alone. Along the road are also some yellow flowers filled with different bugs which are eating the pollen. Among them were butterflies, moths and beetles which shared flowers and sipped on its nectar peacefully next to each other.
The path led past a pond. From the pond the croaking sound of frogs could be heard. The path then leads to a small village where a tuxedo cat appeared to greet the photographer. According to information signs long ago this part of the road used to be a railway. The path then leads through more meadows and eventually leads to Dalby Quarry. The quarry is filled with water and is a popular location for swimming. Further, on the way back to Dalby the path passes through a field of fireweed (Chamaenerion angustifolium) and then through a dim pine forest.
