Mt. Daisen came into view as the ferry approached port. Previous day's rain lingered as morning mist. All passengers disembarked and went through the immigration inspection. One group of foreigners had brought their bicycles and told the immigration inspector that they would tour the country. "What do you mean 'tour the country on your bicycles?'" he asked them confused. Meanwhile other people underwent inspection of their vehicle outside.

After the inspection, the photographer, his grandfather and a family friend went to eat. Sakaiminato is famous for two things - one is fish and the other one is the manga artist Shigeru Mizuki. Therefore, they went to eat sushi and to stroll around the streets decorated in various yokai. The whole street was lined with different shops, all of them which sold Mizuki merchandise, so the photographer went into one store and bought a hand towel. Afterwards the photographer and his grandfather drank some tea and departed from Sakaiminato in their car.
