Autumn Animals

It was a quiet autumn day in September. A playful dog walked past a photographer as it pulled its leash. The cloudy sky reflected an infinity onto the pond's surface. Upon the dreamy mirror stood a duck quietly and looked at the photographer. In the background the flow of a small waterfall echoed over the pond which was occasionally interrupted by wing flaps from a duck cleaning itself. Two ducks waddled around in the waterfall while two cormorants swam in the pond for fish. Small birds sang from trees and chased after insects among the foliage. Meanwhile chickens preen themselves in a nearby enclosure.

The month passed into October, the leaves changed color to yellow and red and the photographer returned to the park. This time he brought two guests to show the park. They took a bunch of pictures of the ducks while feeding them with oats they brought. Pigeons and coots also came to join in on the floating meal.

After taking their photos of birds the three proceeded towards the North parts of Lund on bicycles. After a 20, 30 minute ride they arrived at an after-school care farm that was connected to an elementary school. There was a playground in front of the facility and the ground was scattered with leaves.

There were goats, sheep and a pig on the farm. When unknown people walked in, the animals ran and hid among some trees with a worrisome look, however, upon the sight of a bag of yummy oats their eyes opened wide and a better idea to make new friends came to their minds. The pig followed the people together with two goat kids and a flock of sheep. In the middle of the yard a bunch of bunnies had jumped up to the fence to look at the visitors.

Before the visitors returned home the photographer showed the visitors the hills in Lund known as "Sankt Hans Backar." At the foot of the hill was a wind shelter hidden in a dim place. After ascending through a grove they arrived at the top from where they could see from Lund hospital to the bridge in Malmö.

The three climbed down the hill guests parted ways with the photographer. After that the photographer continued to take photos for three more days while the autumn leaves fell around him to create a photo album with autumn colors.
