In South Sweden there is a town called Engelholm. The city has a history that spans five hundred years. Despite that the city only has around 30 000 inhabitantsref, it has a lot of strange places. Let's take the pedestrian bridge that leads over the twisted river as a starting point. The bridge's name Pyttebron translates to "The Chicken Bridge" and origins from the clucking chickens that would walk around on the railtracks back in the daysref. The local shopping street houses a 130 year old bakery. Furthermore, there is an old ceramics atelier in the city, and at the end of the shopping street there is a strange plus-shaped church.
However, for the current journey the destination lies in the woods.
Engelholm is a seaside town. Between the town and sea there is an artificial forest. The natural forest was cut down. However, the clearcut logging resulted in sand that blew in from the sea and piled up in the town.ref To combat this a new forest was planted which resulted in the current bright nature reserve that is there today.
Not far away from the UFO memorial is the sandy beach. Along the shoreline seashells and seaweed have piled up, and it seems that children like to play with the seashells. On this day the wind blew which was probably why there weren't many people who had gone there to swim. Although there were few people on the beach, lifeguards walked up and down the water.
