Focus Stacking

Focus stacking is a photographic technique where the focus is moved after each exposure and then combined into a single photo. Since the focal point is moved it allows for a focused field with higher coverage. The technique is commonly used for macro photography. Since only a small slice is used from each exposure it creates a lot of excess data.
